35 Children’s Books That Teach Empathy and Kindness
Empathy is the ability to understand and experience the feelings of others, and to respond in helpful ways. Nowadays, parents are very concerned about raising their children with one of the most important life skill, which is empathy.
Empathy isn’t an inborn trait, but during early childhood is the easiest to learn. However, it may be difficult to explain empathy to a child. Reading and learning through books with your child can make to understand it much easier. Reading stories are enjoyable on their own, but they can also increase our sensitivity to others.
